GROVE FARM COTTAGE
Originally a farmworker's cottage, built during the Victorian period, it was sympathetically
renovated during 2003 after standing empty and forlorn for over 30 years! The farm is a working
arable farm, growing wheat, barley and oilseed rape. The farmhouse is situated 1/2 mile down the road.
The cottage has been equipped and fitted to a high standard, with good quality furnishings throughout. The sitting room is very cosy and just the place to curl up with a good book! Games,
Dvd's, video's books/magazines and tourist information/maps are all provided to make your stay complete. The garden is fenced and hedged at the back to give a place for children to play. A barbecue and garden furniture
on the patio are there for your enjoyment during the warm summer months. Whilst staying at the cottage, watch out for the local wildlife. We have a pair of resident barn owls who love
to fly along the ditch lines beside the cottage in the evening, looking for their supper. You may also see the
hares dancing in the nearby fields and the deer in the nearby Grove Wood.
